In a recent development, the district administration of Nuh has continued its efforts to demolish illegal structures in the area. This comes after several days of violence and clashes between different groups during the Braj Mandal religious yatra.

According to reports, 12 different places were identified as having illegal constructions, including a 2.6-acre plot of land around Nalhar Medical College. The administration had already issued notices to the owners of these structures before proceeding with the demolition drive.

SDM Kumar was quoted as saying that 'The demolition drive will continue,' indicating that this is not an isolated incident and that the authorities are committed to eradicating illegal construction in the area.

Sub-divisional Magistrate Ashwani Kumar added that many of these structures were built without permission and were being used by 'hooligans' to throw stones during the recent violence. The district administration has identified 16 illegal structures that will be bulldozed on Sunday, as part of their efforts to maintain law and order in the area.

The demolition drive comes after a hotel-cum-restaurant was razed, which is believed to have been used by one of the groups involved in the clashes to pelt stones at a religious procession during the violence.

In related news, the district administration has relaxed curfew on Sunday, allowing people to buy essential goods from 9 am to 12 noon. The authorities are keen to restore normalcy and order in the area as quickly as possible.

The demolition drive is seen as an attempt by the authorities to send a strong message against illegal construction and to maintain peace and harmony in Nuh district. Only time will tell if these efforts are successful, but for now, it appears that the administration is committed to tackling this issue head-on.
